Welcome back to the San Gabriel Fire Department and the bachelor firemen who reside there. In the latest installment we meet Mulligan who is not wanting to commit to anyone for fear of hurting them or being hurt in a fire. Then along comes Lizzie, Fred's younger sister and all that goes out the water. Mulligan tries to deny his attraction to Lizzie but after he is hurt in a fire he comes to realize just how much he cares about her. While he is pinned underneath a Christmas tree, which is poetic justice, because he is such a Scrooge he comes to realize how much he really cares about her.I haven't gotten to read all the Fireman series but what I have gotten to read so far has been wonderful and I kept turning the pages to find out what happens and Mulligan and Lizzie were no different. I want a Mulligan for myself. He is such a good guy and so caring even if he doesn't want to show it.
Thank you Jennifer for writing such a great book and can't wait for the next series to come out and I am going back to read all the Fireman series to meet all the bachelors and get their stories.
